A Day Out At Chester Zoo

Hello my lovelies! Long time, no blog. I have no excuse whatsoever for not writing anything recently. I just blame myself and who I am as a person. *sighs*

ANYWAYZ, let's move on with the show.

Last weekend, me and the parents went "up North" to visit the Mother's elderly Aunt and on our back home, we went via Chester to visit the zoo. Did you know that it's in the top 15 of the most popular zoos in the world? And it's a whopping 125 acres big? Pretty impressive.

Sadly we didn't have time to see all the animals but we managed to visit a fair few during the 6 hours we spent there. I definitely want to go again.

Daddy Elephant and Baby Elephant were so flippin' cute playing together! LOOK HOW HAPPY THEY ARE!

This is a Scimitar-horned Oryx and they can survive without water for an incredible 9 to 10 months at a time! I wish I could do that. Sadly, these creatures are now extinct in the wild as they were hunted for their meat and hide.

Things that Chester Zoo has apart from animals, birds and reptiles:
A Boat ride.
A Monorail which takes you from one end of the zoo to the other and you can see the creatures from above!
A mini wildflower patch.

I hope you all enjoyed the photos. I guess I'll see you all again soon. And by "soon", I probably mean 21st March 2045.

TOODLES! xx
